Dons diner V2

After simsontherope kindly pointed out to me that the interior of my Don’s Diner was considered an exterior by the game because of the round roof, I tried several things to fix it. Initially I had no luck, but I tried again today and managed to figure it out – the roof just needed to be a little bigger so that the underside of the round fence pieces did not overlap with the interior walls.

I also fixed a “broken room” issue that didn’t seem to be causing any problems necessarily, but was bugging the heck out of me. I basically rebuilt the diner itself from the ground up, so if some of the objects aren’t in the same place they were in V1, that’s why!

I’ve also deleted the mailbox; thank you, Snaitf’s Buyable Mailboxes.

Fixing the roof issue has improved the lighting a bit. I also added more overhead lights in general. It’s still a bit dark for my tastes without Shimrod’s mod, so I do recommend that mod if you want to have brighter pictures! The diner also looks best after 9 PM – the lights get much brighter.

The roof is less round now, by necessity, so if you prefer the old diner, I’ve left that one in the gallery. Pics of that one can be found here.

Don’t forget to place this lot in Build Mode if you want the cars to stay re-sized.
